Rented The Book Of Eli, it was SO good! True testament of faith. Denzel’s character Eli’s fave line, “you walk by faith not by sight.” So true! How many times have we all walked blindly in our own faiths? What courageous story, just what I needed to hear. Saw it in the Redbox tons of times, but tonight, it spoke to me, now I know why. Wow, mind blown.

2010 was very difficult, an uphill battle. Sickness plagued me. Joblessness haunted me. But, with those struggles I grew a lot as a person, so I’ll thank trials & tribulations for that. I came into my own as a woman & adult a lot more. I grew steadfast in my faith. Still working on everything, but I’m in the right direction. How was your 2010? What’d you learn this year?

Thinking about doing a complete 180 & switching my major to become an occupational therapist. I feel God telling me I need to be making a difference in people lives. I’m so desperately discontent with a menial existence, just being a number. Some lady said to me the other day, “do you work here or are you JUST a stocker?” My job has no meaning. I need meaning. I’m...
I’ve realized lately I’m in a complete different place than any of my friends. I’ve never been much a party girl, but lately the idea of partying, or even being around alcohol makes me nauseated. It’s so completely overrated to me. I don’t really ever go out for those reasons. I’d much rather sit at home & read a book or watch PBS (nerd, I know). Going out...

Dear Mr. Lennon,
Though I never had the pleasure of knowing you, or being alive when you were, you have touched my life, in so many ways. Now & forever, you’ll always be one of the most influential people to me musically & personally. You may be a dreamer, but you’re certainly not the only one, your legacy lives on in all of us. Thank you for everything you did, &...
